About the FounderMy name is Ben Wolf, and I am an Altman Scholar at Tulane University intending to pursue a B.A. in Political Economy and a B.S.M. in Legal Studies in Business, as well as minor in History and a language concentration in French. I founded The Pathway Blog to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world policy by interviewing diplomats, policymakers, scholars, and other leaders across the public and private sectors. I am particularly interested in foreign affairs, economics, law, and public policy, and am always looking for learning and hands-on opportunities in these fields.
I was born in New York City in 2006 before moving to Kansas City in 2013. There, I attended the Pembroke Hill School until my graduation in 2025. At Pembroke, I was heavily involved in extracurricular activities, bearing prominent leadership roles in my school's Speech and Debate team, student newspaper, Jewish student union, and trading club. I was also apart of the High Honors society all four years of high school. In my short time at Tulane thus far, I have made significant strides towards my two degrees, taking on the maximum credit hours in both semesters while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. Additionally, I am on the traveling roster of the Tulane Debate team, a member of the Tulane pre-law fraternity, and am involved in a variety of politically-affiliated clubs and activities. I also coach debate for inner city high schoolers at a local charter school. |
About The Pathway BlogThe Pathway Blog is a student-led platform dedicated to exploring diplomacy, foreign affairs, and public leadership through in-depth conversations with the people shaping world events. Our goal is to create accessible, high-quality interviews that help students understand global issues—and the career paths behind them.
This project is driven by a belief that students deserve direct access to the insights, experiences, and lessons of those working on the front lines of global decision-making. Through The Pathway, we strive to create a space for curiosity, dialogue, and career exploration. If you are interested in speaking on the Blog, or would like to recommend someone to have on, our contact information can be found here. |
